Scope

This standard specifies the measurement method of thermal electromotive force of tungsten-rhenium thermocouple wire for rapid measurement of molten steel temperature - the fuse method. This method is suitable for the measurement of thermoelectromotive force at the palladium point (1554°C) and platinum point (1769°C) of a couple wire with a diameter of 0.08~0.1mm. Couple wires of other diameters can also be used as a reference.
