- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of marine pressure gauges (hereinafter referred to as instruments). This standard applies to mechanical pointer pressure measuring instruments for ships and offshore equipment using spring tubes as measuring elements.
