Scope

This standard specifies the performance test methods for diesel engines used in engineering machinery as the basis for evaluating their main performance. This standard applies to diesel engines for engineering machinery (including four-stroke, two-stroke; air-cooled, water-cooled; non-supercharged, supercharged and supercharged intercooling). Testing of imported products should also comply with license requirements.
