- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of silicone glass mica tape for electrical insulation. This standard applies to mica tapes that use exfoliated mica as the base material, silicone adhesive paint as the adhesive, and use alkali-free glass cloth for electrical engineering and mica tape paper as reinforcing materials on both sides.
