Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for single-phase series motor-fans used in household vacuum cleaners. This standard applies to electric fans for dry household vacuum cleaners. Those not specified in this standard shall comply with the provisions of GB 9926-1988 "General Technical Conditions for Small Power Single-phase Series Motors" and GB 12350-1990 "Safety Requirements for Small Power Motors".
