- This standard specifies the cutting tools, test blanks, test equipment, testing instruments, cutting conditions, life criteria and test procedures involved in the life test of saw blade milling cutters and screw groove milling cutters. It also stipulates the life acceptance conditions. This standard is applicable to the life test and life acceptance of high-speed steel saw blade milling cutters and high-speed steel screw slot milling cutters. This standard does not apply to the life test and life acceptance of surface-coated high-speed steel saw blade milling cutters and high-speed steel screw slot milling cutters.
