- This standard specifies the applicable scope, terminology, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings of electrothermal capacitors. This standard applies to water-cooled and air-cooled electrothermal capacitors used in induction heating electrical systems with a frequency of 40 to 24000 Hz to increase power factor or improve loop characteristics.
