- This standard specifies the classification codes and labeling composition, representation methods and requirements for the metal plating and chemical treatment of relays and their devices. This standard applies to electroplating, chemical plating and chemical treatment on metal and non-metallic parts of relays and relay protection devices. This standard also applies to automatic power system safety monitoring devices and similar products. If there are special requirements for metal plating and chemical treatment that are not specified in this standard, they should be specified in the relevant technical documents or enterprise standards.
