- This standard specifies the measurement methods and inspection rules for surface roughness of rolling bearing parts. This standard is applicable to the measurement and evaluation of surface roughness of high carbon chromium bearing steel rings, steel balls, rollers and needle rollers of various sizes. This standard also applies to the measurement and evaluation of surface roughness of bearing parts made of stainless steel, carbide, carbon steel, carburized steel and other materials.
