Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of boron carbide sealing rings for mechanical seals. This standard applies to hot-pressed boron carbide sealing rings. The working conditions are water, oil, organic solvents, strong acids and alkalis, and media with solid particles at a pressure of no more than 6.3 MPa and a temperature of -20 to +200°C.
