- This standard specifies the classification principles, technical requirements and inspection methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, storage, transportation and other requirements for generator stator grounding protection devices. This standard applies to electromechanical, rectifier and static generator stator grounding protection devices. Such devices are used in generator stator grounding protection systems. The maximum protection zone is 95%. This standard applies only to new installations.
