Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of permanent magnets for electrical measuring instruments. This standard applies to the manufacture of alnico alloy permanent magnets used in electrical measuring instruments. Other permanent magnets with similar uses can also be used with reference.
