- This standard specifies the types, technical requirements and test methods of switches for uninterruptible power supply equipment. This standard applies to various UPS switches used in conjunction with the UPS to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the load, including UPS circuit breakers, bypass switches, isolating switches, load transfer switches, connection switches, etc. Normally, these switches are always used as a functional unit of the UPS switch and are assembled with the UPS to form a complete product. Therefore, this standard should be applied in conjunction with GB 7260. This standard does not apply to general switchboards (panels, cabinets) that supply power to UPS, nor does it apply to rectifier input switches or DC switches (such as switches for batteries and rectifier output or inverter input).
