- This standard specifies the models, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage and transportation of acrylic fiberglass hoses. This standard applies to electrically insulating hoses made of alkali-free glass braided tubes impregnated with acrylic. It has certain dielectric properties, softness and elasticity, and is used as wiring insulation and mechanical protection for motors, electrical appliances, instruments, radios and other devices.
