Scope

This standard specifies the general characteristics and performance of D-shaped and bow-shaped shackles of M (4), S (6) and T (8) levels with an ultimate working load of 0.63 to 100t, as well as the key dimensions necessary for interchangeability with other parts. When the D-shaped shackle is used in conjunction with the forged hook, the intermediate part can be used for connection.
