Scope

This part specifies the packaging methods, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging markings, transportation and storage of packages for positive displacement compressors (hereinafter referred to as compressors). This standard applies to packages with contents above 200kg. It can also be used as a reference for packages with contents below 200kg.
