- This standard specifies the basic parameters, requirements, test methods and inspection rules for DC switches for battery-powered power tools. This standard applies to manual DC switches installed in the handles of battery-powered power tools or similar appliances for connecting and disconnecting the power supply circuit from the battery pack to the motor, adjusting the motor speed or changing the motor rotation direction. The rated voltage of the switch does not exceed 36V, and the rated current does not exceed 25A.
