Scope

This standard specifies the performance test methods for natural gas separation equipment. This standard applies to natural gas separation equipment that uses a turboexpander (or a turboexpander with auxiliary refrigeration) to cryogenically separate natural gas from natural gas and process it into ethane or liquid hydrocarbon products above ethane.
