- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of natural gas (including oilfield associated gas, the same below) separation equipment. This standard applies to natural gas separation equipment that uses a turboexpander (or a turboexpander with auxiliary refrigeration) to cryogenically separate natural gas from natural gas and process it into ethane or liquid hydrocarbon products above ethane. Note: The gas volume in this standard is the gas volume at O℃ and 101.3251kPa.
