- This standard specifies the scope of application, reference standards, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of electronic power transformers for instruments and meters. This standard applies to dry-type power transformers used in instrumentation and similar electronic equipment, with a capacity below 5000VA, a rated power frequency of 50Hz, and a working voltage not higher than 3000V. This standard also applies to power supplies with a frequency of 60Hz.
