The standard stipulates the working environmental conditions and conditions that directly affect the performance of meteorological instruments under normal circumstances (excluding environments suitable for lightning, earthquakes, magnetic fields, nuclear radiation and other accidents, as well as microclimate conditions caused within the meteorological instrument itself). The environmental parameters encountered by meteorological instruments fixed on the ground during normal use, as well as the severity levels caused by the combination of multiple parameters. In the process of development, design, use and standard setting of meteorological instrument products, a certain level specified in this standard should be selected as the working environment condition of the product. This standard is applicable to meteorological instruments that are fixedly installed on the ground and used in working environments without or with climate protection. When the range levels of working environment conditions in this standard do not meet the requirements for use of meteorological instruments and special circumstances, the instrument can be customized according to the actual working environment conditions.
