- This standard specifies the methods and test procedures for routine tests, type tests, and special tests of column-type contact voltage regulators and column-type contact automatic voltage regulators. This standard is applicable to the testing of oil-immersed and dry-type voltage regulators and automatic voltage regulators with a rated input voltage of 1200V and below and a rated frequency of 50Hz that operates continuously. Special voltage regulator tests may refer to this standard.
