Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring contact spots of involute external mesh column gear reducers. This standard is applicable to the contact spot determination of gear pairs in involute cylindrical gear reducers with normal modulus m ≥ 1 mm, and is also applicable to the contact spot determination of involute cylindrical gear pairs in other reduction transmission devices.
