- This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of ammeters and voltmeters. This standard applies to: Direct-acting analog display ammeters and voltmeters, and non-interchangeable accessories used with ammeters and voltmeters. Instruments and accessories with electronic components in measuring and/or auxiliary circuits. The corresponding relationship between the graduation line mark and the input power is known, but it does not directly correspond to the input power of the analog display electrical measuring instrument.
