Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings and quality certificates for ductile iron castings for positive displacement compressors. This standard applies to sand casting, or ordinary and low alloy ductile iron castings for positive displacement compressors with thermal conductivity equivalent to sand casting.
