Scope

This standard specifies the structural type, hub and bearing dimensions of cast pulleys for cranes. This standard is mainly applicable to wire rope cast pulleys for bridge cranes and gantry cranes. Pulleys used in other cranes can also be used as a reference. The pulleys referred to in this standard include balance pulleys in crane wire rope transmissions.
