- Scope
- This standard specifies the definition, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings of steam and gas pressure thermometers. This standard applies to circular scale vapor pressure indicating thermometers with a measuring range of -20°C to +200°C and circular scale gas pressure indicating thermometers with a measuring range of -80°C to +600°C. The thermometer can be equipped with mechanical and electrical contact devices. This standard does not apply to thermometers dedicated to aviation, automobiles, tractors, etc., as well as thermometers with a nominal shell diameter less than 60mm or greater than 150mm.
