Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation requirements for gas fuel generator sets. This standard is applicable to 0.5 to 800kW internal combustion engine-driven AC power frequency generator generator sets burning natural gas, coal gas, biogas and other gases and mixed combustion with diesel.
