- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of self-recording paper for meteorological instruments. This standard applies to the self-recording paper used in meteorological instruments such as bimetal thermometers, hair hygrometers, empty box barometers, siphon rain gauges and concealed cylinder pyranometers.
