- This standard specifies the terminology and technical requirements for electronic power dispatch communication switchboard. This standard applies to special communication switchboards for power system dispatching and command, and also applies to special communication switchboards for dispatching and command in other industries under similar conditions. This standard does not apply to dispatching communication switchboard equipment in special environments such as high temperature, corrosion, and explosive environments.
