Scope
This document specifies general good practices for pre-harvest, harvesting, post-harvest drying, drying methods, processing, packaging, storage and transportation of edible spices. This document applies to operations to prevent and reduce mycotoxin contamination in food spices, applicable to spices - whole, crushed, ground or mixed. Not suitable for use on herbal and spice plants.
