- This standard specifies the gas chromatography method for determining the migration amount of 2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethanol in food-contact plastic packaging materials and products and the positive verification method for GC-MS. This standard is applicable to the determination and verification of the migration amount of 2-(N, N-dimethylamino)ethanol in plastic packaging materials and products in contact with food. The detection limit of 2-(N, N-dimethylamino)ethanol in food simulants by this method is 3.4 mg/kg (/L).
