Scope

This standard specifies a three-point comparative odor bag method for measuring odor emissions in different forms from ambient air and various odor pollution sources (including waters). This standard is applicable to the determination of odor in ambient air, air at fugitive emission monitoring points and waste gas samples from fixed pollution sources. This standard measurement method is an olfactory organ measurement method and is not limited by the type, number of types, concentration range and concentration ratio of the components contained in the odor substances.
