- This part of GB/T9966 specifies the principles, instruments and equipment, sample preparation, test procedures, test results and test reports for the linear thermal expansion coefficient test of natural stone. This section applies to the determination of the linear thermal expansion coefficient of natural stone. Mechanical measurement (Method A) is suitable for stones with a maximum particle size greater than 7mm, and thermal dilatometer measurement (Method B) is suitable for stones with a maximum particle size not greater than 7mm.
