- This standard specifies the numbering rules for parts, assemblies and assembly device diagrams of newly designed and finalized various types of automobiles and semi-trailers. This standard applies to the numbering of parts, assemblies and assembly device drawings of various types of automobiles and semi-trailers. But it does not include the numbers of parts, assemblies and assembly device diagrams of the special device parts of special-purpose vehicles and special-purpose semi-trailers. This standard does not apply to the numbering of automotive standard parts and rolling bearings.
