Scope

This standard stipulates the selection principles and steps of the crude oil pipeline plus pour point depressant transportation process, the determination principles of process conditions and parameters, operation requirements, pour point depressant performance and crude oil physical property monitoring requirements and special safety requirements. This standard applies to pipelines transporting waxy crude oil with a water content not higher than 1.5% using a pour point depressant treatment process.
