1.0.1 In order to make the construction of lime kiln masonry follow rules, thereby ensuring the quality of lime kiln masonry and adapting to the continuous development of lime production technology, these regulations are specially formulated. 1.0.2 These technical conditions apply to the masonry construction of mechanized vertical lime kilns that use coke or anthracite as fuel and are automatically or semi-automatically controlled. The masonry construction of other vertical lime kilns can also be used as a reference. 1.0.3 The kiln shell directly affects the construction of the kiln lining. This technical condition puts forward certain requirements for the production of the kiln shell; however, these technical conditions do not stipulate the construction requirements for parts unrelated to the kiln lining. 1.0.4 When constructing the lime kiln lining, the steel structure of the kiln body should be installed and inspected before proceeding. 1.0.5 The construction and acceptance of lime kilns should not only comply with these technical conditions, but also comply with the relevant national mandatory standards. The main ones include: "Construction and Acceptance Specifications for Industrial Furnace Masonry Projects" (GBJ 211), "Quality Inspection and Assessment Standards for Industrial Furnace Masonry Projects" (GB 50309) and "Technical Conditions for Chemical Industrial Furnace Masonry Construction" (HG 20543).
