Scope
This standard describes the minimum requirements for materials, design, manufacturing and testing of conventional glycol-type natural gas dehydration units (hereinafter referred to as dehydration units) using triethylene glycol as the absorbent. Conventional dehydration devices refer to materials operating at 15.56℃~48.89℃ (60℉~120℉), operating pressure greater than or equal to 2.76MPa (gauge pressure) (400psig), but not exceeding ANSI B16.5 6001b flange design pressure Dehydration device. This standard dehydration device mainly includes a feed separator, a glycol/natural gas absorption tower, a natural gas/glycol heat exchanger, a glycol reboiler, a glycol buffer tank, a glycol circulation pump, a filter, and a rich-poor glycol exchanger. Heater, glycol flash separator (optional) and skid. This standard can also be used for the design of offshore platform dehydration devices, but the additional requirements for offshore platform devices should be met. The manufacturer of the complete set of dewatering equipment shall be responsible for ensuring that all materials, design, manufacturing procedures, inspection, acceptance and testing meet the requirements of this standard.
