Scope

This standard specifies the gas chromatographic determination method for urinary phenols (1) Liquid crystal column method. The minimum detection concentration of this method is 0.1 mg/L. This standard is applicable to the determination of p-, o- and m-cresol in the urine of normal people and workers exposed to benzene and workers exposed to phenol and cresol.
