Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, inspection methods and marking, packaging, transportation and storage rules for cast iron cylinder liners of diesel engines for internal combustion locomotives. This standard applies to new cast iron cylinder liners (hereinafter referred to as cylinder liners) for diesel engines used in internal combustion locomotives.
