Scope

This standard specifies the type and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging and storage of AC watt-hour meters for electric locomotives (hereinafter referred to as locomotive meters). This standard is applicable to inductive AC active watt-hour meters for fixed installation and measuring AC power with a rated frequency of 50Hz.
