Scope
This standard specifies the spectrophotometric method for determination of cholinesterase activity in blood - thioacetylcholine-dithiodinitrobenzoic acid method. The minimum detection concentration of this method is 2 units/1 mL of blood. This standard is applicable to the determination of cholinesterase activity in the blood of normal people and those exposed to organophosphorus and carbamate pesticides.
