Scope

This standard specifies the classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of traps for pressure steam sterilization equipment (hereinafter referred to as traps). This standard applies to steam traps used in steam sterilization equipment with a working pressure of no more than 0.4MPa.
