- This standard applies to solid conductor PVC insulated wiring. This type of wiring is mainly used in buildings and wiring cabinets (boxes) to connect the following equipment: ——Connect equipment rack terminals or communication device terminals to another On the equipment rack or communication device, or connected to the distribution frame; ——Connect the subscriber line to the switching equipment of the telephone and telegraph office; ——Temporary installation for connecting communication equipment.
