Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for medical rigid endoscopes. This standard applies to various medical rigid endoscopes used for human internal cavity inspection and surgery. It does not apply to magnifying endoscopes and contact endoscopes.
