Scope
This standard specifies the energy efficiency level, energy efficiency limit values, test methods and inspection rules of DC electric fans. This standard applies to table fans, rotating leaf fans, wall fans, table fans, and floor fans driven only by DC motors with a single-phase rated voltage not exceeding 250V and a three-phase rated voltage not exceeding 480V. Note: This standard does not apply to:
——DC fans powered only by a third party (e.g. battery). - Non-domestic DC electric fans, such as appliances specially designed for industrial use. - Appliances intended for use under special conditions, such as where corrosive or explosive gases (dust, steam or gas) are present. - Fans combined with other appliances.
