Scope

This standard specifies the quantitative analysis of the total olefin content of gasoline or related hydrocarbons (such as light oil or cracked light oil) in the C4 to C10 range. If the sample contains olefins with a concentration of 0.2 to 5.0 vol.% or mass% (or both), the sample can be analyzed directly and collected; if it contains a higher concentration, it should be appropriately diluted before analysis.
