- This standard is applicable to the recoating of anti-rust paint on the bottom of steel ships and the use of oil-based anti-fouling paint to prevent the parasitic attachment of marine organisms to the bottom of the ship (hereinafter referred to as oil-based anti-fouling paint on the bottom of steel ships). Remarks: Oil-based antifouling paint for steel ships uses oil-based Vanillin water as a developing agent, and is a liquid containing fully dispersed antifouling pigments, color pigments and extender pigments. It is intended for the purpose of antifouling the bottom of steel ships.
