Scope

This standard provides the terms and definitions of multi-effect steamed drinking seawater desalination system, basic requirements for seawater intake and pretreatment, multi-effect drinking device design, product water storage facilities, concentrated brine discharge, cooling seawater discharge and wastewater treatment. This standard applies to the design of new or expanded multi-effect distillation seawater desalination systems.
