- Scope
- This standard specifies chemical analysis methods for soda-lime silicate glass (hereinafter referred to as soda-lime glass). Note: Soda-lime glass is mainly composed of silicon dioxide, sodium oxide, calcium oxide and magnesium oxide. It also contains aluminum oxide, iron oxide, titanium dioxide, potassium oxide, silicon trioxide and arsenic oxide. In addition to the analysis of the above components, this standard stipulates the content of other components such as barium oxide, boron oxide and fluorine.
